ScopeClerk is a digital service. Nothing physical is ever shipped; this page describes how results are delivered instead.

1. Nature of the service

ScopeClerk drafts a commercial bid proposal or scope letter from a contractor's estimate and past proposals, reviewed by a person before delivery. There are no physical goods, packaging or postage involved at any point.

2. What you receive, and how

Results are delivered two ways, both digital:

• Dashboard: signed-in results appear in your account as soon as they're ready, with a download link for each output.
• API: if you use the API, a contractor's own tool submits a job estimate and past proposals, and polls for the reviewed draft proposal.

Outputs produced: Drafted proposal: cover letter, scope of work by trade, assumptions/exclusions, alternates, payment terms; Computed totals (subtotal, markup, tax, deposit/retainage or progress draws); Reviewer's check record showing which estimate line backs each dollar figure; .docx and PDF export.

3. Turnaround time

Turnaround depends on our review process. A member of ScopeClerk's own team checks every price and scope line against the input estimate before the draft is marked reviewed; neither founder holds an estimating or contracting license. There is no fixed delivery window because review time varies with queue and complexity, but every job's status is visible in your dashboard, and we notify you as this product describes: Job finished email when the reviewed proposal is ready for delivery.

4. Access to results

Results stay available for download for as long as we retain the underlying job's files — see retention in our privacy policy. Each dashboard row shows exactly how long its files will be kept.

5. API access

Programmatic access uses an API key you generate in the dashboard. There is no separate "shipping" step for API results: the same job record and download URLs are available through GET requests once the job finishes.

6. Account and access

You need a ScopeClerk account (email + password, or a supported social sign-in) to submit work and receive results. No shipping address is collected or required.
